Tonight we finally have a larger slate to select our DraftKings roster from, and it looks to be a fun evening. I will be heading down the street to the Flyers game this evening to see them take on the Arizona Coyotes at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia, so fingers crossed I get to see some excellent goals.

Jumping into the action, I am going to target the lines and players I think will see the most ice time with the best chance to score points.

Arizona @ Philadelphia

C.Giroux $6,700

B.Manning $ 2,900

I.Provorov $ 3,800

B.Schenn $5,600

Vegas loves the Flyers at home tonight and has projected s 5.5 goal total. I want exposure to Giroux and Schenn on the first line in this game.

The Coyotes have been allowing goals at a fast clip since the veteran netminder Smith went down with an injury and while I think his fill-in Domingue is good, I think the Flyers continue their torrid scoring at home and put up goals en route to the win.

Giroux leads the NHL in assists and I think he hits his 3.5 fantasy points per game (FPPG) average. I’m also betting he tallies his first goal of the season on the power play, with Schenn chipping in as well on the night.

On defense I am targeting Brandon Manning, who partners with Shayne Gostibehere and hopefully grabs some scraps in the form of an assist plus a few blocks shots along the way. On the other side I also am going to use Ivan Provorov, who is still underpriced for the time he plays as well as his ability to score points. This rookie is definitely going places.

Pavelski

Columbus @ San Jose

J. Pavelski $7,400

L.Couture $6,100

P.Marleau $4,600

Out West I am going all in on the San Jose game at home, as I agree with Vegas’ assessment of the game and the fact that Columbus struggles on the road. Vegas likes San Jose to score 3.23 goals, which is a good bet.

Rather than play a single line, I included everyone on the first power play unit, but play on alternate lines. Joe Pavelski is a ‘gimme’ as he has already amassed nine points with three goals on the season. Along with Couture and Marleau playing on the first power play unit, I think these guys get it done at home tonight.

NY Islanders @ Pittsburgh

M.A. Fleury $7,600

I want to paint a target on the Islanders by using Marc-Andre Fleury in net since the Islanders are in their second game in as many nights. They face off against a Penguins team that has Crosby back and seems to have found first gear after a long Stanley Cup hangover.

Fleury has looked human in net so far with a 0.904 save percentage while allowing 3.1 goals a game, but I think with Crosby back and the Isles having played last night, the Penguins come out on top at home tonight.

Florida @ Toronto

J.Marchessault $5,100

R.Smith $4,300

Finally I want to use two players from Florida who are on the road against a Toronto team who have been playing much better but still struggle tokeep the puck out of their net.

Marchessault and Smith play on separate lines but command respect. They are young guys who have found their scoring touch in the past year, with Smith playing great in the playoffs and Marchessault finding his game after coming over from Tampa Bay in the summer.

Vegas likes this game to see plenty of goals and I think Florida puts up points as both teams shoot it out across the border tonight.
